The paper analyses the task origin and writing process and technical content of the stardand JT/T 692-2007 ＂The Test Method for Colorimetric Characteristics of Retroreflectors under Nighttime Conditions＂. At the same time, the test equipments, test process and the result calculations are introduced. It is helpful for the popularization and application of this standard.
