According to the requirements of 'Urban Bridge Maintenance Technical Standard', the article introduces in detail the use of electronic tabulator (Excel 2003) to calculate the condition index of the bridge, the table compilation, the calculation steps and methods in the course of detecting and appraising the urban bridges.
