摘要
以朝拜真武神为目的的武当山朝香活动至迟兴起于宋代,经过元代的发展,到明代已成为具有全国性影响的风俗,其规模和影响足以与五岳之首的泰山相媲美。清代以后,民间仍盛行朝武当的风俗,但香客的人数与地域来源已不能与明代鼎盛时期相比,朝山进香已呈衰减之势。武当山朝香风俗的历史与武当山历史地位的变化、道教真武神信仰的兴衰、武当道教的影响等因素息息相关。
The origin of the pilgrimage to Mount Wudangshan was unclear, but it was recorded in the txets during the Song Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty especially Ming emperor Zhenwu periods , because that Zhenwu did his utmost to canonize Zhenwu, Mount Wudang was titled as Tai-yueh (Grand mountain) or Hsuan-yueh (Black mountain) and became the most famous mountain under the heaven. And so, it attracted a mass pilgrims all over the nation, the religion then had been achieved its top. In the Qing Dynasty, the mountain lost these titles, its statue declined and the influence on the regional communities was carried only through the pilgrimage.
