摘要
学习者自主性是学生可持续发展的重要保证。本文就如何培养学习者自主性这一问题评述了“新世纪大学英语系列教材”《综合教程》的试用情况。试用结果表明:这套新编教程能激发学习者的内在学习动机和学习态度,鼓励学习者有效地运用学习策略,培养学生的合作学习能力等,从而促进了学习者自主学习能力的发展。
Learner autonomy is an important guarantee of learners' sustainable development. Centering on how to develop learner autonomy in college English teaching, this paper evaluates the pilot study of the newly published coursebook Zooming In: An Integrated English Course, one of the major components of "New Century College English Coursebook Series". Results of both quantitative and qualitative researches show that the new course:book is effective in promoting learner autonomy through cultivating learners' motivation and learning attitude, encouraging the use of language learning strategies and fostering cooperative learning.
