摘要
十七大报告是指引我们建设更高要求小康社会的纲领性文件,"小康社会"是报告的中心词,也是当今经济社会生活中的主题词。以纽马克的非文学翻译理论来分析解读"小康社会"的译语、原文本的隐意、英译文本的差异和译者此中的策略,对加深"小康社会"的理解及翻译实践都有积极的现实意义。
Hu Jintao＇ S report at 17th Party Congress is a guardian doeument for us to build a moderately prosperous soeiety of higher standards in all - around way. The proper word Xiao Kang She Hui whieh is a foeus of the report beeomes the key word in our soeial and eeonomie lives. Inter- preting and diseussing the translation of Xiao Kang She Hui helps a lot both in understanding the meaning of a moderately prosperous soeiety and translating. Combined Peter Newmark＇ s theory on non - literary translation and related domestie studies, this paper takes the traslations of Xiao Kang She Hui as a ease to show the SLT meanings, TLT differenees and translation strategies along with the traits of non- literary translation.
