摘要
时态信息表示和推理是时态数据库的研究重点之一,现实生活中很多时态信息是不确定的,现有的时态数据库模型在处理不确定时态信息方面仍存在较大困难.本文提出一种用概率的方法表示不确定时态信息的模型,用于描述各种具有确定或不确定时态信息的事件,定义了各类时态对象(如时间点、时间区间)以及它们之间的关系,并给出了不确定时态推理的例子.
Temporal representation and reasoning is one of the main research topics in temporal databases. It still remains difficult in handing indeterminable temporal information in temporaldatabases, while in real life many events happen with indeterminable temporal information. This paper proposes a new model based on probability for representing indeterminable and determinable temporal information to describe events and facts with time indetermi- nacy. This model defines some temporal objects (such as time point and time period) , then defines several relations among temporal objects. Finally, an example is analyzed, using this model to solve the indeterminable temporal reasoning problem.
