The paper analyzes the gap between Chinese and American logistics industry from the view of SCP, in order to explore current status of small and medium-sized logistics companies and provide some targeted advice for the development of them. It puts forward the idea that it' s essential to change from functional to service-oriented businesses, and seize the opportunity of the fever of merger and reorganization of the logistics industry at home and abroad, actively seeking a new way out.
