摘要
范畴化是人们认识世界最基本的能力之一。认知范畴观的原型范畴理论认为范畴有层次性和标记性的特点。层次性即范畴由三个层次组成:上位范畴、基本层次范畴和下位范畴;标记性即范畴内结构的不对称性。文章试图从原型范畴的这两个显著特点入手,来探讨一下原型范畴理论在英语写作中的体现,以及词汇表达的问题。
Categorization is one of the most basic abilities to know the world. The Prototype Theory in cognitive study of categorization holds the view that a category is characterized by the hierarchical structure, i.e. superordinate category, basic - level category and subordinate category, and markedness, i.e. asymmetry in category. This article intends to discuss the embodiment of Prototype Theory in English writing and the problem of words expression in writing from the perspective of cognitive study on Prototype Theory.
