摘要
英汉两种语言的基本颜色词数量大体相当。而英语和汉语因为分属于两个截然不同的语系,植根于两种不同的文化体系,折射出英汉民族不同的文化心理的审美情趣,中西方给颜色词所赋予的文化内涵大相径庭。本文就英语颜色词的特定含义及用法作一些探讨。
