摘要
当今社会生活中人们不断地从电视、互联网、手机、报纸等传媒中获得知识信息,君子不出门全知天下事。西部边境贫困地区公共图书馆财政投入不足,图书更换缓慢,读者日益减少。胡锦涛总书记在十七大报告中提出推动社会主义文化大发展大繁荣,坚持把发展公益性文化事业作为保障人民基本权益的主要途径。要加大财政投入力度,加强社区和乡村文化设施建设,西部边疆城市公共图书馆面临前所未有的发展机遇。突破困境,抓住机遇,乘势而发,改变传统阵地服务方式,唤醒沉睡百年的馆藏文献资源,走出去服务"三农",服务新农村,让知识开花结果。
Nowadays People can access to different information from TV , the Net , Mobile Phone and newspapers without going outdoor; Some poor and far away frontier areas are short of money investment so books can not be renewed frequently , but the readers become more and more. Mr Hu has pointed out that the development and prosperity of our socialist course depend on the public culture development and the basic necessity of our people. To invest more , overcome the difficulty , and to take chances and reform the service system of public library, we can benefit from the knowledge in the book.
