摘要
随着分辨率和绘图速度要求的不断提高,大型彩色喷墨绘图机需要高速的打印接口,USB接口正好满足了这种要求。为大型喷墨绘图机提供基于USB2.0的传输方式,将计算机处理完的图像信息通过USB电缆高速可靠的传输给绘图机。设计中采用了Cypress公司的芯片CY7C68013,并利用其开发板及配套软件,分别从硬件、固件和主机程序三个方面进行设计开发并实现了USB2.0接口。将此接口用于彩色宽幅绘图机中,实现了高速、准确地绘制图形的功能。其中最高的传输速率可达3.2Mbps。最后,总结分析了提高速度的想法和手段。采用USB这种传输方式,克服了以往绘图仪要利用并行电缆带来的低速、连线复杂等种种缺点,为绘图机的数据传输提供了一种崭新的新型接口。
As the request for resolution and plot speed is increasing, the large-scale color plotters need print interface of high speed. The distinctive characteristics of USB2.0 exactly satisfy the demand. The transfer mode using USB 2.0 for the large-scale color plotters is provided. The image information processed by computer is transmitted to the plotter quickly and reliably by USB cable. The chip CY7C68013 of Cypress company is adopted, and its development board and software are used. The USB2.0 interface is implemented, including its hardware, firmware and host program. The USB interface is used in the large-scale color plotters, and the performance of the plotters is improved. The maximal data transmission rate reaches 3.2Mbps. Finally ,the method and idea for the improvement of the data transmission rate between the host and the plotter is analyzed and summarized. The data transmission through USB interface overcomes some disadvantages of the former plotters, such as low speed, complex of connection.
