摘要
新加坡是一个移民社会。自1819年英国人开埠至今,新加坡逐渐形成稳定的多元民族结构和多元民族文化特色。而建国后民族政策的不断调整,则使多元族群之间的和谐共处日益成为当代新加坡民族关系的基本特征。
Singapore is a nation constituted by emigrants. Since 1819 when the British opened a commercial port, Singapore has made a kind of diverse race structure and the diverse race cultural special features gradually. And with the race policy adjusting continuously after building up Singapore nation, The diverse harmonious ethnicity is becoming the basic characteristic that contemporary Singapore race relation increasingly.
