摘要
介绍日本大学图书馆总体情况,详细描述武藏工业大学图书馆、芝浦工业大学图书馆、成蹊大学图书馆、琉球大学图书馆的建筑特色,分析日本大学图书馆的服务特点及最新动态,提出借鉴其建筑特点和"开放大学图书馆,服务周边社会"、"建立机构资料库"等做法,发展我国大学图书馆,以适应现代社会终身学习的要求,将大学图书馆从文献收藏者转向学习和研究的孵化者、培养者,参与不同环境的知识创造、传播和使用过程。
The article introduces the university libraries of Japan on the whole, details the architecture of the Library of Musashi Institute of Technology, the Library of Shibaura Institute of Technology, the Library of Seikei University and the Library of University of the Ryukyus analyzes the service characters of Japanese university libraries and their develop- ment, suggests that our university libraries should learn from them, the function of university library facilities will shift from being dominator of physical collections into fosterer of learning and research to take part in the prosess of knoledge creation spreding and usage.
