摘要 蛋氨酸是哺乳动物正常生长和发育的必需氨基酸,但蛋氨酸摄入过高促进动脉粥样硬化的发生,其具体机制尚不明确,至今提出了几种学说,如血浆同型半胱氨酸升高学说和DNA甲基化学说。然而,随着研究的进展及对蛋氨酸代谢研究的深化,S-腺苷同型半胱氨酸在高蛋氨酸促进动脉粥样硬化的发生中似乎显得更为关键。 Methionine is one of the essential amino acids to mammalian, but excessive intake of methionine can promote atherosclerosis,which has no clear mechanism. There are some hypothesis such as raise of plasma homocysteine and DNA methylation about it. However, with the progress of studies and research deepening on methionine metabolism, it seems that S-adenosylhomoeysteine appears more critical in the promotion of atheroselerosis by high methionine intake.
