摘要
一直以来,大学英语教学都很重视培养学生的阅读能力,大学英语阅读教学可以分为精读教学和泛读教学,两种方式互为补充。在泛读教学中,通过运用图式理论,可以帮助学生积累相关的背景知识和修辞图式,从而激发学生的阅读兴趣,提高其阅读能力。
Reading is the principal way to get information and the key to knowledge from written language. Improving students' reading ability has been the focus of college English teaching. College English reading includes intensive reading and extensive reading, both of which connect with and supplement each other. This paper, based on the schema theory, explores the teaching model of English extensive reading, placing the emphasis of extensive reading on activating the background knowledge, developing reading skills and consolidating the background knowledge.
