摘要 本文探讨中国企业跨省、跨国扩张战略对绩效的影响。基于704家国内A股上市公司的数据,实证结果表明:中国企业跨省扩张程度的提高会显著地降低企业的盈利能力,但有利于企业的规模成长。中国企业跨国扩张程度的提高会更大程度的显著降低企业的盈利能力,但对规模成长性并无显著影响。同时,本文提出了相应的政策建议。 This study examines the relationships between geographical diversification and firm performance. Based on a sample of 704 Chinese listed companies, the study finds that a Chinese company's cross-province expansion has a significantly negative effect on its earning ability, but has a positive effect on its size; a Chinese company's cross-border expansion has an even more negative effect on its earning ability, but has little effect on its size. The results indicate that more attentions should be paid to inter-province expansion.
