摘要
通过问卷调查了普通高等院校学生的语言学习观念和英语学业自我概念,旨在发现不同专业的学生在这两方面的异同及二者间的关系,从而为外语教学提供实践依据。数据分析发现,英语专业、理工科和文科学生的母语观念有较大不同,学生的自我概念与管理策略观念呈显著正相关,与母语观念呈显著负相关。
This survey on college learners' language learning beliefs and academic self - concept aims to find out the similarities and differences between the beliefs and concepts of students from different majors. It is found from the statistic analysis that English majors hold different belief on the use of mother tongue from that of students of science and engineering and liberal arts. There is a positive correlation between students' academic self- concept on English and management strategy beliefs and a negative correlation between students" academic self- concept and belief on the use of mother tongue.
