摘要
用超声纵波沿垂直于应力方向对45#钢进行测试,测量其在单轴应力作用下的声速变化。实验结果表明:材料在拉、压单轴应力作用下,超声纵波的声速都发生了变化,声速相对变化率与应力成线性关系。通过本实验提供了一种无损测试材料内部应力的方法。
The ultrasonic longitudinal wave was used to measure the applied stress in 45# steel. Experimental results show that the presence of the stress will cause small changes in phase velocities of the longitudinal wave ,and the velocity will increase with the increasing of the applied stress. Furthermore, the percentage change of the velocity is proportional to the applied stress. This linear relationship provides a practical non-destructive technique for the stress measurement.
