摘要
从当代民族学应用的地位和价值出发,对该学科在当代社会的应用范围、特点和基本原则进行分析,认为一个真正的民族学家,既不应为民族学曾打上过殖民主义强权政治的烙印而自暴自弃,也不应为这样羞愧的历史而粉饰遮掩,而应立足于当今世界各民族独立、争取自由的现实,决定自己的立足点。
In the paper, the author analyzes the extension, characteristics and principles of contemporary ethnology from its social position and value. In his opinion, a real ethnologist should not abandon because of the colonial history of the country and try to hide it. On the contrary, we should stand on the independence of all nationalities, fight for the freedom, then find out the starting point for further prosperity.
