How to inherit and deverop the essence of traditional art is the international research subject of modern design. Based on design methodology, this essay uses the method of demonstration to clarify how to evolve traditional signs into modern symbols. Meanwhile through the interpretation and summarization of different cases, the author is also trying to find out the general rures and ways of evolving traditional symbors into modem rogo designing, explores how to develop the tradition so that the tradition can adopt a new life in modern society.
