摘要
杜十娘的一生带有浓重的悲剧色彩,真正夺去杜十娘生命的是其生活的社会,以及伴随资本主义的萌芽所滋生的赤裸裸的金钱关系。在这种关系下,情与钱的冲突亦在所难免,而杜十娘恰好是这种关系的牺牲品。"百宝箱"是杜十娘悲剧意蕴的象征,从"百宝箱"这个意象入手解读杜十娘悲剧的社会根源,如金钱和权势对人性的腐蚀、传统观念对女性尊严的无视和戏弄等。
Du Shiniang had a tragic life all the time. It was the society in which she lived and the monetary relationship breeding with the germ of capitalism that deprived her life. It was inevitabale for the conflicts between affection and money. Du Shiniang was exactly a victim of the relationship. ＂Treasure box＂ is a symbol of Du Shiniang＇s tragedy. This essay analyzes the social causes of Du Shiniang＇s tragedy, such as the corruption of human nature caused by money and power and the indifference and fooling with female＇s dignity caused by traditional concepts.
