摘要
2005年南京博物院考古研究所在金坛县薛埠镇上水村发掘了4座土墩墓,其中二号墩发现的遗迹包括器物群、墓葬、土台和房址。墓葬和其中3个器物群出土有硬陶坛、瓿、碗、施釉硬陶豆和夹砂陶鼎、泥质陶瓿等,年代为西周晚期,其他5个器物群含商代早期陶器,推测为修筑土墩墓时有意放置的。
In April to August 2005, in coordination with the construction of the Ning-Chang Expressway, the Institute of Archaeology, Nanjing Museum, carried out a salvaging excavation to explore four mounded tombs at Shangshui Village of Xuebu Town in Jintan County. The present paper is mainly a description of Mound 2 （D2）. The discovered vestiges include object groups and remains of tombs, earthen platforms and house-foundations. Of them eight object groups and a tomb yielded artifacts, including hard pottery tan jars, bu liquid containers, bowls, glazed hard pottery dou stemmed vessels, sandy pottery ding tripods and clay pottery bu from three object groups and the tomb. The mound can be dated to the late Western Zhou period, but the other five object groups of D2 yielded pottery belonging to the Shang period, i.e. earlier than the date of the formation of the vestiges, which must have been the early Shang objects collected in the course of the building of the mound and intentionally put into there. The excavation enriched the knowledge of the contents of the mounded-tomb culture and provided new material for studying the form and burial custom of this type of grave.
