Synthesis, Characterization, and Electrochemical Property of Nanometer Porphyrin Dimer

摘要 A nanometer porphyrin dimer was synthesized with fumaryl chloride as a bridge-linked reagent. The characterization was carried out with elemental analyses, ^1H NMR, UV-Vis, and IR spectrometries, and then the electrochemical properties of the porphyrins were studied. The authors found that there was moderate electronic communication between the two porphyrin rings in the nanometer porphyrin dimer.
