摘要
如何利用可调配的资源,有效、准确地测量大学英语学生的口语水平,是一个十分值得研究的课题。本文从四个方面对深圳大学的校级英语口语测试进行了定性和定量研究:①考生对口试的评价,即口试的表面效度;②口试的分数分布是否与口试目的相符;③不同阶段的口试任务难度是否对等;④口试的评分信度。研究手段主要有包括:问卷调查、描述性统计、相关分析、独立样本t检验、单因素方差分析等。研究结果可以初步证明,口试达到了较好的效度和信度。我们会在将来的口试实践中对本论文未涉及的课题进行不断的研究和探索。
How to assess the oral English proficiency of College English students in a valid, reliable and practical way is a subject well worthy of research. This paper presents a study of Shenzhen University Oral English Proficiency Test for Non-English Majors. It aims to answer the following research questions: (1) How do candidates evaluate the oral test? (2) Does the distribution of test scores suit the test purpose? (3) Are different versions of tests equivalent? 4. How is the inter-rater reliability? Evidence was collected and analyzed via questionnaire, descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test, correlations, one-way ANOVA, etc. The results indicate that an adequate level of reliability and validity has been achieved. Further effort will be made to validate the teat from more perspectives.
