摘要
Uniform colloidal particles of BaCO3 are produced in the system of n-octanol,BaCl2 and Na2CO3 aqueous solutions under the action of hexadecyltrimethyammonium bromide(CTAB) by the methods of single-emulsion, double-emulsion, solution and gasblasting. The key factors, which determine the size, shape and uniformity of the particles,as well as the suitable methods to prepare uniform colloidal particles are figured out by comparing different (water-oil) phase ratios, kinetics of particles’ growth and differentmethods of preparing hydrophobic sols.
