摘要
新香优８０是湖南农业大学水稻科学研究所用本所选育的优良恢复系８０与湖南杂交水稻研究中心选育的新香Ａ配制而成的三系杂交水稻新组合．该组合参加湖南省晚稻区试，比对照威优６４增产１１．２％，米质达部颁二等优质米标准．具有生育期适宜，适应性广，较抗病虫，制种产量较高等特点．１９９７年２月通过湖南省农作物品种审定委员会审定．
Xinxiangyou 80 newly developed by Institute of Rice Science of Hunan Agricultural University is a three line hybrid rice.It was released to farmers in February,1997.In the 1996s regional trials of late rice in Hunan province,it yielded a meam 7.24 t/hm 2,11.2% higher than the control Weiyou 64,with a growth duration of 116 d,which was comparable with that of Weiyou 64.The hybrid was eveluated for leaf blast,neck blast and bacterial leaf blight resistance in Hunan.It also had a good cold tolerance.All of Xinxiangyou 80s quality characteristics were tested and met the second class standard issued by the Chiness Ministry of Agriculture.When planted as late rice in the double cropping system in Hunan,it was about 91 cm tall with strong tillering ability.Its seed set was more than 80% with a mean of 1 000 spikelets / panicle and l 000 grain weight was 27 g.
