摘要
IPTV业务应用随着网络技术的飞速进步逐步得到了推广。这种实时应用对服务质量要求很高,而现在的IP网络对QoS的支持还是非常有限。为了有效地缓解网络的延迟和抖动对终端视频播放质量造成的影响,提出了一种在播放终端根据视频缓冲区容量大小动态调整播放速率和选择性丢帧的缓冲控制策略,使终端缓冲区始终保持在稳定的区域内,同时保证在实施该机制的过程中对播放质量的影响减少到最小。该策略在实践中取得较好的效果,达到了预期的目的。
IPTV services have rapidly developed in the last few years with the progresses of IP networks technology. Such real time application requires the demand of quality of services but the IP networks of today provides poor support of QoS. To solve the problem of the impact of jitter of the IP network, a video buffer control strategy combined with dynamic adjusting of the playback rate and selected discard certain frames according to the buffer fullness is presented. This strategy keeps the buffer fullness in the stable zone and minimums the quality degradation. The implementation of this strategy achieves the goal and proves that it can greatly improve the quality of IPTV.
