摘要
"CCTV杯"全国英语演讲大赛决赛阶段的即兴演讲和辩论环节是对选手综合素质要求最高,对选手实际英语能力反映最真实,也是在总分中所占权重最大的部分。本文对近五年来此环节在比赛形式、评分标准和命题内容上的变化进行了梳理和归纳,发现比赛形式的对抗性增强;评分标准中更突出演讲内容的重要性;命题内容呈现更新、更广、更难的趋势。这些变化启示英语专业教学中可适当引入有明确时间限制的对抗性课堂活动,开设社会热点问题专题研讨课,及时引导学生关注各个领域的最新动态,培养学生批判性思考能力、快速反应能力和逻辑表达能力。
The impromptu speech and debate segments of the ＂ CCTV Cup＂ English Speaking Contest, which occu- py the vast majority of the overall score, is the most highly demanding segment and a true test of contestant＇ s English competence. This thesis analyzes the changing in forms, judging criteria and topics of this segment in the recent five years. Analysis shows competitive dialogues has been added; the content of speech has been given more attention to substitute the traditionally linguistic-oriented criteria; topics assigned are more updated, widely covered and closely related to the daily life. These changes could serve as enlightenment for English major teaching. Teachers of English major could introduce more competitive activities with strict time management; open courses concerning hot social events and phenomena and invoke discussions among students, instruct the latest information of a wide scale to students; cultivate the ability of critical thinking, quick response and logically express.
