摘要
随着Internet的日益普及,在网络上传输的数据已经不再局限于文字和图形,而是逐渐向声音和视频等多媒体格式过渡,IPTV(网络电视)便是在这种大趋势下产生的一个典型应用。受技术手段的限制,IPTV在大面积推广时会面临不少障碍。文中从视频编码、宽带接入网络技术、流媒体传送技术和IP机顶盒技术4个环节分析IPTV的关键技术,并分析了IPTV未来的应用方向。
With the increasing popularity of Internet, the data transmitted over the network has not been confined to pictures and drawings, expanding to the sound and video. IPTV （ Network TV） is such a typical application. However, due to the limitation of technique means, its wide use meets lots of setbacks. This paper analyses the four key techniques of IPTV in visual encoding, connection, fluid media conveyance and IP top box as well as the future application of IPTV.
