To introduce familiar several leakage phenomena of pump. The cause of leakage and the measures to prevent leakage should be taken are analyzed. It is pointed that work pressure of pump should be calculated carefully and pipeline effect should be thought when pump type selecting, The physical properties, chemical properties and temperature of lifting liquid should be paid attention to.
