摘要
本文描述采自新疆天池的挠足类一新种——天池北镖水蚤。新种与匈牙利的喜钠北镖水蚤最为相似,但有重要区别,例如新种雄体第一右触角第十四节有一短刺,两性第五胸足的构造也与喜钠北镖水蚤有重要区别等等(表1)。 根据新种雄体第一右触角的指状突起的特征,应归入杆镖水蚤亚属,但此触角第十四节中部却有一个十分明显的短刺。在北镖水蚤属中,此短刺被列为北镖水蚤亚属的特征。若据此将本新种归入北镖水蚤亚属,则雄体第一右触角末第三节的指状突起、第五胸足等重要特征都不相符。为此建议将杆镖水蚤亚属特征中关于雄体第一右触角第十四节的形态改为:大多无短刺,仅少数有几丁质突起或短刺。
In this paper a new species of calanoid Copepoda of the genus Arctodiaptomus collected from Tianchi, (88°05-12'E, 43°49-56'N) Xinjiang, China is reported. The type specimens are kept in the Institute of Hydrobiology, Academia Sinica, Wuhan.Arctodiaptomus (Rhabdodiaptomus) tianchiensis sp. nov. (figs. 1-8)This new species closely resembles Arctodiaptomus natronophilus Pony 1956 from Hungary, but may be distinguished from the latter by the short spine on the 14th segment and the terminal process on the antepenultimate segment of the right antenna of the male. The new species differs from A. natronophilus in the structure of the male and female fifth leg as shown in table 1.The authors suggest that the short spine on the 14th segment of the first right antenna of the male also exists in few species of the subgenus Rhabdodiaptomus.
