河南省高职高专大学英语师资队伍状况抽样调查 被引量:4

摘要 教师是大学英语教学改革成败和教学质量高低的决定因素。课题组对河南省高职高专院校的大学英语师资状况进行了抽样调查,结果显示:教师数量严重不足;教学工作量过大;教师队伍性别、年龄、学历、职称等结构不合理;教科研成果数量少,层次低;学校外语图书资料、现代化教学设施不配套。作者呼吁教育主管部门和学校领导要高度重视大学英语师资队伍建设。 Teachers are the critical factors in college English reform and teaching quality. The results of the sampling investigation are as follows. Firstly, there is a severe lack of college English teachers. Secondly, college English teachers are under too much workload. Thirdly, there is not a realistic balance of such factors as the sex, age, record of formal schooling and title of technical post. Fourthly, there is little research work which is of high levels. Lastly, teaching materials are not correspondent with modern teaching equipments. The author calls for attention from administrative departments and principals of colleges to the strengthening of the teaching staff.
