摘要
本文就我国出版的《台风年鉴》中最大风速历史资料20世纪50～60年代比70～80年代偏大的现象进行了订正。在此基础上对西北太平洋热带气旋强度的气候状况做若干统计,并将订正前后两种不同统计结果进行了比较。可供热带气旋气候分析、防台抗灾、工程设计等参考使用。
It was found that there were the systematically unusual greater maximum winds of tropical cyclones (TC)in the period from 1950s to 1960s than those in the period from 1970s to 1980s in the 《Typhoon Yearbook》 published by PRC. A correction has been made to this unreasonable pheno'menon in this paper so that the historical data of the maximum wind of TC are comparable in terms of the unique standard from year to year. Hased on the corrected data, some statistics on the climatological characteristics of the tropical cyclone intensity over the Northwestern Pacific have been made. The results obtained from the corrected and un-corrected data are compared with each other. The conclusions deduced from this article can be used for the climatological analysis of TC and prevention and mitigation of TC's disasters as well as the coastal engineering design.
