孙中山被誉为中华民国"国父",陈嘉庚堪称中国华侨领袖;二人有段爱国情谊,毕生服务社会;都在晚年实现重大的思想转变而成为杰出的爱国主义者;都给中华民族留下了宝贵的精神遗产,其现实影响是广泛和长远的。
Chen Jiageng is regarded to be the leader of overseas Chinese while Mr. Sun Zhongshan is honored as the father of Republic of China. With great patriotism, they both aimed at serving the society. In their later years, they formed a completely new idea of life and society, and gradually they became great outstanding patriots, leaving a large amount of precious spiritual treasure to Chinese, and exert a profound and long-lasting influence on our life.
