摘要
目的探讨环氧化酶-2(COX-2)在低分化鼻咽癌中的表达及其与Survivin和Caspase-3的关系。方法采用免疫组织化学方法对56例低分化鼻咽癌患者肿瘤组织及20例鼻咽黏膜组织的COX-2和Survivin及Caspase-3蛋白表达进行检测。结果鼻咽癌标本中COX-2的表达阳性率为76.8%,鼻咽黏膜表达阳性率为15.0%,两组之间差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。鼻咽癌中COX-2和Survivin的表达具有相关性(P<0.05),COX-2和Caspase-3的表达无相关性(P>0.05)。结论COX-2在低分化鼻咽癌致病中起着重要作用,其凋亡抑制作用可能通过调控Survivin途径来实现。
Objective To investigate the expressions and their significance of cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), Survivin, and Caspase-3 in poorly differentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). Methods The expression of COX-2, Survivin, and, Caspase-B was detected by SP immunohistochemical method in 56 specimens of poorly differentiated NPC and 20 specimens of normal nasopharyngeal mucosa (NNM). Results The positive expression rates of COX-2 in NPC and NNM were 76.8%and 15.0% respectively. The difference was statistically significant ( P 〈0. 05). In NPC, the expression of COX-2 was positively correlated with that of Survivin ( P〈0.05), and not with that of Caspase-3 ( P〉0.05). Conclusion Overexpression of COX-2 plays a critical role in the development of poorly differentiated nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Up-regulation of Survivin may be an important pathway.
