1550nm工作波长新型结构细径偏振保持光纤的制备及性能研究

摘要 应力致偏型偏振保持光纤利用光纤材料热膨胀系数的差异,在材料内部产生热应力,致使光在传输过程中保持偏振特性。但要使其拥有高的双折射与短拍长且高强度性能,则对保偏光纤的结构设计与制造提出较高要求。本文主要是对工作波长在1550nm,新型结构细径偏振保持光纤的制备与性能进行研究,并制备出拍长达到2.1mm、消光比达到28dB(1km)、工作波长在1550nm、低衰减高强度的细径偏振保持光纤。 By utilizing difference of thermal expansion coefficient of fiber material, coming into being thermal stress inside the fiber, light is maintained polarization in the process of transmission inside stress-induced polarization maintaining fiber. But with high-birefringence, short beat length and high-strength, much higher demand has been put forward to structure design and fabrication. Characteristic research and fabrication of a novel structure polarization maintaining fiber at 1550nm operation wavelength are studied in this paper. As a result, a low-loss and high-strength reduced diameter PM fiber with beat length close to 2.1 mm at 1550 nm operation wavelength and extinction ration approximately 28dB(km) has been produced.
