摘要
多入射方向的偏振分光棱镜的结构,不同于传统偏振分光棱镜的立方体结构,使得入射光从不同方向入射到分光面上,通过合理的结构设计,使入射光在分光面上达到分光的角度要求,达到分光的目的。另外,这种新型的多入射方向的分光棱镜的结构可以有效地降低偏振分光棱镜的厚度,扩大偏振分光棱镜的适用范围。本文基于硅基液晶显示技术在HMD系统上的应用介绍了多入射方向的偏振分光棱镜的结构及其应用效果。
The structure of a polarization beam splitting prism with multi-incidence direction is different from the usual cube structure and the incidence rays rip into the splitting face from different direction. Through the reasonable design, we can let the rays rip into the splitting face in the right angle, so we can split the rays correctly. Furthermore, using this kind of structure, the thickness of polarization beam splitting prism can be reduced, and thus extends its application. In this paper, based on the LCoS's application in the HMD system, we discuss the structure and the application effect of a polarization beam splitting prism with multi-incidence direction.
