摘要
通过引入Agent技术,提出了一种基于Multi-Agent的分布式与集中控制相结合的IPv6网络性能测试模型,并对该模型的体系结构、Agent设计及实现机制进行了深入的分析,在此基础上设计实现了一个IPv6网络性能测试软件,使用此软件实测了IPv6实验网的性能指标。实验表明,该模型具有较好的可扩展性和实用性。
IPv6 has attracted significant attention from researchers, educational institutions, software vendors and end users. IPv6 is moving from pilot phase to practical application, and will eventually replace the existing IPv4. In the process of deploying IPv6, IPv6 network performance is one of the key issues to be considered. Test is an important method to understand IPv6 network performance. However, only a few works are found to evaluate the performance of IPv6 network. And IPv6 network performance test softwares are less available universally. So through the introduction of agent technology, an IPv6 network performance test model is put forward, which integrates distributed structure with centralized control. The architecture, agent design and realization mechanism of the model are analyzed thoroughly, based on which IPv6 network performance test software was designed and implemented. Using the software, the performance specifications of an experimental IPv6 network were tested and compared with IPv4. Experimental results show that the proposed model has good scalability and is suitable for IPv6 network performance test.
