An Instrument for Precise Measurement of Cross Sectional Area and Young’s Modulus of Single Fiber by Resonance Method with Contactless Detection System

摘要 报导利用非接触式激发和接收的方法。 A new method and an instrument for measuring precisely the cross sectional area and Young’s modulus of asingle fiber are reported. With the technique of contactless excitation and detection, it is able to determine both the cross sectional area and Young’s modulus of reinforcing fiber simultaneously. The errors existing in the testing methods used currently are eliminated.
