摘要 语言与文化关系密切,语言反映文化,文化决定语言。词汇是语言的最基本要素,因此蕴涵着丰富的文化内涵。在分析英汉词汇文化内涵差异的基础上就如何结合文化教育进行词汇教学提出了一些建议,以期提高词汇教学的质量和外语学习者的跨文化交际能力。 Language and culture are closely interrelated with each other. Language is the keystone of culture. Without language, culture would not be possible. On the other hand, language is influenced and shaped by culture and it reflects culture. Vocabulary is an essential element of language. Therefore, vocabulary is culture-bound. In view of this, based on an explanation of the relationship between vocabulary and culture, the present paper proposes some constructive suggestions on how to combine the cultural instruction with the teaching of vocabulary, so that the quality of vocabulary teaching in the foreign language classes can be improved.
