类质同象置换对蒙脱石水化性能的影响 被引量:6

EFFECT OF ISOMORPHOUS SUBSTITUTION ON THE HYDRATION PROPERTY OF MONTMORILLONITE

摘要 研究了10个蒙脱石样品在蒸馏水中水化性能——自由膨润量的差异。样品来自不同产地或不同矿层,具有不同的类质同象置换。研究前对样品进行了提纯和钠化处理。实验结果表明,蒙脱石膨润性与其类质同象置换情况有密切的关系,膨润量与由蒙脱石结构成分计算得到的品格常数6有明显的相关性。讨论了膨润量差异的原因。 The free swelling in distilled water of ten montmorillonite samples from different localities and strata with different amounts of isomorphous substitution were determined after the clay was separated from associated minerals and converted to the Na-saturated state. Test results show that the degree of swelling has a close relation, with the isomorphous substitution. The decrease in swelling is found to increase with the amount of isomorphous substitution. The difference in swelling is not related to difference in layer charge capacity. The swelling is plotted against the b-dimension calculated from the mineralogical composition of the clay, showing a straight line with a negative slope. The reasons of the difference of the swelling are discussed.
