摘要
钱宝琮校点《算经十书》本《〈夏侯阳算经〉提要》认为传本《夏侯阳算经》成书年代在公元762—779年间。自1963年钱校本《算经十书》出版以来,论者多从此说。至1990年,陈明光《传本〈夏侯阳算经〉成书年代补证》一文认为是本成书年代在公元788—816年间。早在1929年,钱宝琮《〈夏侯阳算经〉考》一文指出是本之成书年代当在公元780年之后不久。文章认为,上述第三说近是。若将公元785年左右视为传本《夏侯阳算经》的成书年代当与事实相去不远。
The Abstract of the Xiahou Yang Mathematical Art in Ten Mathematical Manuals emendated by Qian Baocong considers that the time of compiling the present version of the book was between A. D. 762-779. Many scholars have adopted Qian＇s point of view in their work since the publication of the Ten Mathematical Manuals in A. D. 1963. On the other hand, A Supplementary Research on the Time of Compiling the Present Version of the Xiahou Yang Mathematical Art by Chen Mingguang published in A. D. 1990 considers the time of compiling the book to be between A. D. 788-861. As early as A.D. 1929, A Study of the Xiahou Yang Mathematical Art by Qian Baocong points out that the book was compiled not long after A. D. 780. This paper thinks that the year given by Qian in 1929 for the publication of the book is approximately correct, and furthermore regards the time as about A. D. 785.
