After the piezoresistance used for lightning protection is impacted by the thunderbolt, the indexes of its on-state current and on-state voltage fall down exponentially. The anthor suggests that the useful life and change cycle of the piezorosistance which is used in the power system for lightning protection should be determined by counting the amount of the local thunderstorm days.
