摘要
和传统电视系统相比,交互式网络电视(IPTV)中的频道服务在切换时延方面面临着严峻的挑战,减小IPTV中频道切换时延,提高终端用户服务质量体验,是大规模应用IPTV服务必须要解决的问题之一。本文提出一种改进IPTV中频道切换时延的策略,该策略通过对终端用户的行为进行统计,利用Zipf模型对统计结果进行分析,然后将得到的分析结果去指导IPTV中二层网络设备上频道数据的部署,尽可能的使得终端用户将要切换的目标频道数据已经提前部署在二层网络设备上,减小用户加入目标频道带来的网络传输时延。
Compared with the traditional broadcasting television service, the channel zapping time of the IPTV is confronted with chal-lenge. Reducing the channel zapping time and enhancing QoE (Quality of Experience) are the critical problems to resolve for thespread of the IPTV service. This paper presents a method of improving the channel zapping time. The statistics of the terminalusers' behavior is analyzed by Zipf module to make some special channels come to the 2-layer network in advance, so that these special channels will be requested probably by the terminal users in the next time.
