摘要
为了提高无线城域网802.16系统长时期的性能和带宽利用率,针对标准的四类服务连接提出了一种有效的接纳控制算法。它为实时服务越区切换连接预留部分带宽,通过带宽借用让非实时轮询服务连接按照优先级逐次放弃部分带宽直到最小保留速率要求,这样基站能够接纳更多的四类服务连接并最大化利用带宽。仿真表明所提出的算法降低了实时服务越区切换连接的阻塞率,提高了系统带宽利用率和非实时轮询服务连接的传输容量。
An efficient admission control algorithm was developed to improve the long-term performance and bandwidth utilization of 802.16 wireless metropolitan area network systems for the four-type service connections in the standard. The algorithm reserves some bandwidth for real-time handover connections and reduces the bandwidth of non-real-time polling service (nrtPS) connections to the minimum reserved traffic rate requirement according to the priorities by bandwidth borrowing. Thus, the base station can accept more four-type service connections to maximize bandwidth utilization, Simulations show that the algorithm reduces the blocking probability of real-time handover connections and improves system bandwidth utilization and transmission capability of the nrtPS connections.
