摘要
介绍了基于EPON把广电原有的HFC网络从单向网络改造为双向网络的解决方案。目前中国的有线电视网的现状是多数网络没有完成双向改造,这样的网络仅能满足基本的广播电视节目传送,既不能承载多媒体交互业务,也不能有效实现网络、业务、用户管理。基于EPON的LAN入户和Cabl e入户方式的结合可以最大限度保留现有有线电视HFC网络投资,并把目前以单向分配为主的网络结构,向具有多业务承载能力的双向宽带信息网络推动演进,帮助广电运营商成功实现战略转型。
The paper introduces the EPON-based retrofit solution for the existing HFC network from unidirectional network to bidirectional network. At present, most CATV networks in China have not completed in the bidirectional transformation. Therefore, these networks can simply satisfy the transmission of broadcast and TV programs, they can neither carry multi-media interactive services, nor realize the management on networks, services or users. The combination of EPON-based LAN access and Cable access modes can retain the investment in the existing cable TV HFC network to the extreme, and push the existing network structure dominated in unidirectional transmission to evolve towards the bidirectional wideband data network of multi-service carrying capability, which helps the broadcast and TV operators realize the successful strategic transformation.
