A determination of lipid peroxide and antiperoxideses was perfarmed in 128 cases of hepatitis β including 60 cases of acute hepatitis β, 68 chronic hepatits β and 54 normal persons as controls. The result indicated that the sero-GSHPX activities of patiens with acute and chronic hepatitis were lower than that of the normal persons, which is danger to patients with hepatic β. When the parameters between MDA GSHPX and SGPT werw positive or negative relatives also being danger to the patients with hepatitis β. There is markedly different between the patiens with positive HBeAg.It is indicated that the variation of lipid peroxidation is related to the pathogenesis of hepatitis β, and is of great significance for determining the prognosis of the disease.
