摘要
以韩礼德的功能语法为理论框架,分析得出英语政治访谈中模糊限制语以推测型情态词和共指(或泛指)类人称代词为主,其人际功能在于帮助政治家赢得民众的认同和支持。
A study based on Halliday＇s Functional Grammar shows that most of hedges used in English political interviews are modal verbs with inference meaning and personal pronouns of co-reference （or general reference） , whose interpersonal function is to help the politicians win the mass＇ recognition and support.
