非线性小波变换及其在图像压缩上的应用

摘要 提出了一种基于非线性小波变换的图像压缩方法。使用非线性小波变换可以更高效地表示图像的边缘信息,并更能把图像的能量变换到低频子带上。仿真结果也表明,提出的方法在较高压缩比时比JPEG2000效果要好。 Using nonlinear wavelet transform could efficiently represent edges and compact energy into lower subbands of the transform,so the method of introducing nonlinear wavelet transforms into image compression is proposed. The experimental results show that the proposed method performs better than JPEG2000,especially at higher compression ratios.
