摘要
社会建构论为理解科学知识提供了一个新视角,作者由此来关注医学中的疾病概念,揭示出疾病概念的社会建构性特征:疾病的本质是在具体的社会价值观念中被发明而非在事实中被发现的;疾病的描述、说明、诊断和治疗也具有明显的非认知特性,价值观念特别是利益权衡影响到各环节具体结论的得出。
The theory of social construction has provided a brand - new perspective for comprehending the scientific knowledge. Therefore , this paper explores the meaning and characteristics of disease from the perspective of social construction theory as follows. Firstly , the nature of disease was invented in the concrete concept of social values, but not discovered from any facts. Secondly, the description, explanation, diagnosis, and treatment of disease have a notably non - cognitive feature. The values , especially the value of weighing the profit has a great influence on the concrete conclusions during each link of the whole process of disease.
